Gulf Coast Autism Association, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non profit organization founded in 1976 by a small group of parents. Established as a volunteer organization, GCAA has relied only on volunteer parents who have given their time and understanding to help improve the lives of all affected by autism.
Our mission is to expand opportunities and enhance the quality of life of all individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families, while sharing information, advocating, and raise public awareness.
We serve the Gulf Coast area particularly, Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties. Our organization works with families, schools, professionals and providers to ensure that individuals with autism spectrum disorders are fully included members in their communities. We strive to meet the needs of the growing autism population in our area.
